Chester County has completed the count of all in-person, mail-in, and absentee ballots that were received by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. See these interim results on the County site (where you will see this image).

Mail-in and absentee ballots postmarked by 8pm on Election Day and delivered to Voter Services between then and 5pm on Friday, November 6 are still able to be received and will be counted unless the US Supreme Court suddenly reverses its prior decision.

Military and overseas ballots are still able to be received through Nov. 10 and are not reflected in current totals.

In line with the principle of waiting till votes are counted, we are not yet congratulating winners but AP has called the US House PA-06 race in favor of incumbent Chrissy Houlahan and it is clear that Joe Biden will carry the County by a margin even larger than Hillary Clinton’s in 2016, a margin so huge that it could truly determine history nationally.

“We must march to demand the unqualified right to register and vote—we must march to demand the opportunity for decent jobs—we must march for the right to improve our wages and living standards.” — Bayard Rustin, born in West Chester, March 17, 1912
