Thomas Patrick (“Tip”) McCabe grew up on Long Island, New York, and moved to Pennsylvania to attend the Villanova University School of Law, where he met his wife. Almost his entire career has been serving the County’s residents as a litigator in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas handling hundreds of cases, multiple felony (including homicide) and misdemeanor jury trials, and juvenile and appellate advocacy. He brings a wealth of experience as both a criminal defense attorney and civil litigator gained from his years as a Chester County Assistant Public Defender and in private practice. He currently works at O’Donnell, Weiss & Mattei, P.C., as the firm’s litigator with offices in Pottstown and Phoenixville. He also serves as Solicitor for Elk Township’s Zoning Hearing Board. He currently resides with his wife in Newlin Township, where they are raising their family.
