He played a key role in negotiating fair and sustainable labor agreements that balanced employee interests with fiscal responsibility. He also served as a volunteer with the Harmonville Fire Company, exemplifying his dedication to service and teamwork—values that continue to guide his efforts in Chester County. Currently, Gillen serves as an elected Auditor in Uwchlan Township, where he continues to apply his financial expertise to ensure fiscal accountability and transparency in local government.
