Matt wants to improve court access for low income individuals, eliminate sentencing disparities, and deliver justice more efficiently. He believes our courts must preserve freedom of expression and religion, individual privacy, and ensure due process for all. Matt grew up in Chester County and graduated from Georgetown University and Penn State Dickinson School of Law. He is the husband of Lauren Holt, an Assistant Public Defender, and the father of two young boys. He worked as a civil litigator and family law attorney at Fox Rothschild LLP, then as in-house counsel for The Bryn Mawr Trust Company. Matt was elected and serves as a Democrat on the Tredyffrin Township Board of Supervisors. He helped establish the networking group Chester County Lawyers for Progress and currently serves on the board of Community Volunteers in Medicine, a West Chester based non-profit.
