Commissioner Cozzone lives in Uwchlan Township with her husband and their son. Kathi became involved in politics in 2005, when as a candidate for County Controller she won more votes than any countywide Democratic candidate; her campaign focused on fiscal responsibility, controlling County taxes, and open and honest government. She won her race for Commissioner in 2007 and is in her third four-year term; she has identified workforce development as one of her top priorities. She has been Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners since 2011. She is President of the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania and has served on several state commissions. She remains active in the Democratic party. She received a BS in Accounting from the College of New Jersey in 1984 and managed large and complex budgets in over 20 years of financial management experience in several industries.
