Today, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 into law, the victorious culmination of months of work by Senate and House Democrats.
President Biden called this comprehensive bill “one of the most significant laws in our history.”
The law will expand Medicare benefits, lower energy bills, make historic climate investments, lower health care costs, create manufacturing jobs, invest in disadvantaged communities, close tax loopholes used by big corporations, and protect families and small businesses making $400,000 or less.
Despite numerous obstacles, Democratic lawmakers continue to deliver real change for Americans.
This victory reminds us how crucial our efforts are here in Pennsylvania – this would not have happened without our representatives in Senate and Congress!
