from Governor Tom Wolf, 3/12/19:

Today, I’m proud to announce that I’m joining Let America Vote’s Board of Advisors, to fight for fairer, more democratic elections across the nation.

Let America Vote has played a key role in fighting back against proposals that make it harder for eligible voters to exercise their constitutional right to cast a ballot. They’ve held elected officials accountable, and helped make voting rights a major issue in the 2018 elections.

I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together on the national stage, but our work to defend our democracy and make elections fair here in Pennsylvania isn’t nearly over.

Together, we’ve already implemented online voter registration, and over one million Pennsylvanians have used it to register or change their registration. Next, we need to pass campaign finance reforms and implement same day voter registration, automatic voter registration, and more convenient absentee voting. And I need your help in that fight.

If you haven’t already signed, will you stand with me in demanding campaign finance and election reform in Pennsylvania? Add your name now.

As my team mentioned last week, lobbyists in Washington are going all-out to stop campaign finance and election reform in Congress.

But if we can win more victories here in Pennsylvania — and other states, we can build a grassroots movement that can make voting rights and election reform a major issue in the 2020 presidential elections and provide the momentum we need to ensure that every American has a voice in elections to come.

That’s why it’s so essential that we don’t slow down here in Pennsylvania, even after the victories we won for fair maps last year. We have to keep our momentum growing.

Please, show you’re standing with me in demanding campaign finance and election reform in Pennsylvania. Add your name now.

Thank you,

Tom Wolf
