Dear Chester County Democratic Voter,

I hope you had a pleasant Thanksgiving. I am guessing that this year’s gathering may have been different from any other. One thing that wasn’t different was our coming together after a long, hard-fought campaign season. This year, like every year, democracy won. Fairness won.

Now, more than ever, we appreciate the importance of electing qualified Democratic judges and government officials from West Chester to Harrisburg to Washington. As we turn our attention to 2021 we are already preparing for the May Primaries when we choose four Chester County Row Officers – Controller, Treasurer, Clerk of Courts and Coroner. We also coordinate our party’s candidates for municipal (such as township supervisor, school board) and judicial (such as Chester County Court of Common Pleas, Judge of Elections) positions. There are hundreds of slots to be filled across the county.

To continue our historic trajectory of electing smart, capable Democrats from the courthouse to the statehouse, we need to replenish our treasury at Chester County Democratic Committee (CCDC). This coming Tuesday is the perfect day to give for democracy, fair elections, qualified candidates and good government. As an all-volunteer organization, we give our time and we give our money for what truly matters most – a better future for us and for our children.

There are many ways to give to CCDC on Giving Tuesday:

I can not think of a more important cause than, as President-elect Biden says, building back better – restoring our democracy and fairness at every level of society. Thank you for your consideration.
