A longtime Phoenixville resident and trusted advisor to state Senator Andy Dinniman, Don Vymazal has earned a reputation for taking on tough challenges by building coalitions and developing innovative solutions that put people first. With extensive knowledge, boundless tenacity, and firm values, Don has led major public policy initiatives on the issues that matter most to residents, families, and taxpayers, including:
·      The public health and environmental safety concerns and risks associated with the controversial Mariner East pipeline.
·      The planning and management of numerous transportation infrastructure projects, including highway improvements and ongoing upgrades to train stations, railways, and public transit.
·      Securing millions in state grant dollars for community development, jobs, business growth, and nonprofit organizations supporting those in need.
·      Legislative updates and overhauls to support public education and the teachers and schools that are preparing the next generation to lead us into the future.
Don earned a Bachelor’s in History from Gettysburg College and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from West Chester University, where he is a Doctoral Candidate in Public Administration. Before serving as Senator Dinniman’s Director of Policy and Government Relations, Don advised the late State Senator Michael O’Pake of Berks County.
