We’re here to help make all this clear! Just ask yourself and proceed as far down the page as you need till you REACH A YES:

DO I WANT TO VOTE IN PERSON ON THE OFFICIAL ELECTION DAY?

Yes: Go (with mask) to your polling place on Tuesday November 3. Where is that? Click here. See more about in-person voting here

No: keep reading….

DO I HAVE A MAIL-IN BALLOT? (it’s too late to apply now)

Yes (that’s your only other choice): See this 30-second video and full details in our own post (also for absentee voting when you would be unable to vote in person even if you wished). See helpful PADems video except now use drop box, don’t risk mail!

Be sure to assemble ALL 3 ITEMS: 1) the ballot inside… 2) the inner “secrecy” envelope inside… 3) the outer envelope (which you have filled out and signed on the back).

After Oct. 20 we are not recommending putting your ballot in the US mail. Therefore:

DO I WANT TO DELIVER MY MAIL-IN BALLOT IN PERSON BEFORE OR ON ELECTION DAY?

Yes: you can drop off your ballot (inside the 2 envelopes) in person at Voter Services, 601 Westtown Rd, Suite 150, West Chester, PA 19380. Or, take it to one of the public libraries designated as Satellite Offices and Drop boxes listed here. If you choose one of these options, go yourself and take identification.

I’M NOT SURE IF I REQUESTED A MAIL-IN BALLOT OR NOT

This can happen, especially if you signed up to vote by mail for the 2020 primary and may or not have asked for the mail-in request to be permanent. You can check your application’s status here. If you applied for a mail-in ballot more than 2 weeks ago and still see “No Record” there, ask Voter Services for help at (610) 344-6410 . If you see “Pending,” your application was received and approved but your ballot has not been mailed yet. If you see “Processed,” your application was received and approved and your ballot has been mailed.

Then figure out: Is your mail-in ballot likely to arrive in time?

Yes: wait for it and then drop it off as above.

No: keep reading….

WHETHER I RECEIVED MY MAIL-IN BALLOT OR NOT, I NOW WANT TO VOTE IN PERSON ON ELECTION DAY

Then you are back to the top of the page

1) If you got your ballot, take it with its 2 envelopes to your polling place on election day, get it voided, and vote a regular ballot. If you can’t find all 3 of those pieces, go to your polling place and cast a provisional ballot.

2) If you never got your ballot, go to your polling place on election day and explain. You will be able to vote.
