Deb Ryan is a veteran prosecutor who has dedicated her career to fighting for justice on behalf of victims, survivors, and their families. During her 15 years at the Philadelphia and Chester County District Attorneys’ Offices, she successfully prosecuted thousands of cases, including murder, child rape, high-level drug trafficking, sexual assaults, robbery, burglary, and virtually every type of crime.
She spent more than a decade serving this community at the Chester County DA’s Office. As the Deputy District Attorney in charge of the Child Abuse Unit and Children’s Advocacy Center, she led a team of detectives and prosecutors who worked tirelessly to protect our most vulnerable population. She prosecuted many of the most egregious offenders in our county’s history and handled numerous high profile cases that required substantial experience, skill, and compassion to achieve justice for victims.
Deb currently serves as the County Coordinator of the Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative at the Crime Victims’ Center of Chester County, Inc., the first comprehensive initiative in the United States providing programming to children and adults to eradicate child sexual abuse.
