Alita believes that a good judge must possess impeccable personal integrity, a love of service, and the background to apply the law with fairness and respect. Her professional experiences, both in front of and from behind the bench, as well as serving as an educator for other attorneys through continuing legal education and her acceptance into the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, have uniquely prepared her to serve as a judge. Serving others has guided her life, from 31 years in the courtroom to nine years with Girl Scouts, Mock Trial preparation for high school and college students, and much other public service. Alita graduated from Penn State and received her JD degree from Dickinson School of Law, became an Assistant DA in Chester County, then one of five Masters in the Chesco Family Court System, and in 2009 a founding member of Rovito Law LLC.
