CCDC Chair Peter Urscheler is the mayor of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, having first taken office in January 2018 as the youngest mayor in the borough’s 170-year history. A first-generation American raised in Tavares, Florida, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Committed to inclusive, nonpartisan governance, Peter champions affordable housing, environmental sustainability, and public transportation. He is also dedicated to community service, actively serving on the boards of local organizations like the Phoenixville Area Senior Center. Peter is enthusiastic about using his community experience and skills to continue to grow the Democratic Party in Chester County.
